Built for Those Who Lead
God's People with Purpose

Jethro Academy was born from a single conviction: Haitian church leaders deserve world-class formation — biblical, practical, and deeply rooted in the realities of their calling.

The Wisdom of Jethro
— A Biblical Model

In Exodus 18, Moses faced a leadership crisis he could not solve alone. He was carrying every decision, every dispute, every burden of an entire nation. Then came Jethro — his father-in-law, a wise outsider — who spoke a truth that changed everything.

Jethro did not preach. He observed, diagnosed, and prescribed a system. He told Moses to delegate, to build a leadership structure, to choose capable and trustworthy people to share the load. It was not a theological debate — it was practical wisdom rooted in deep faith.

This is our model. Jethro Academy exists to be that voice for the modern Haitian church — to equip leaders with the structure, the tools, and the formation they need to lead faithfully without burning out or breaking down.

Exodus 18 : 17–18, 21

"What you are doing is not good. You and the people with you will certainly wear yourselves out… You shall look for able men from all the people, men who fear God, who are trustworthy… and place such men over the people as chiefs."

What We Exist to Do

Every decision at Jethro Academy flows from a clear and focused mission: to build leaders who build churches that endure.

Biblical Foundation

Every module is grounded in Scripture first. We do not import secular management theory and baptize it — we begin with the Word and let it shape how we think about governance, structure, and leadership.

Practical Formation

Our curriculum is built for working leaders — pastors, board members, administrators — with real responsibilities and limited time. Every lesson is actionable. Every tool is ready to implement.

Haitian Context

We do not deliver a generic international curriculum. Our faculty understand the Haitian church landscape — its strengths, its challenges, its cultural dynamics — and speak directly to that reality.

A Church with Extraordinary Calling,
Ready for Greater Structure

Haiti has one of the most vibrant faith communities in the Western Hemisphere. The Haitian church is resilient, faithful, and deeply woven into the fabric of society. It deserves leadership formation at the highest level.

The Haitian church has long been a pillar of community life — providing education, social services, hope, and spiritual formation in the midst of one of the most complex national contexts in the world.

But calling alone is not enough. Structure is stewardship. A church that cannot manage its finances transparently, govern its leadership ethically, or develop its next generation of leaders is a church that is limiting its own impact — no matter how genuine its faith.

Jethro Academy was designed specifically to close that gap — providing the tools, training, and community that Haitian church leaders need to lead with both spiritual depth and institutional credibility.

"The Haitian church does not lack passion. It lacks structure. And structure is what turns passion into legacy."

— Dr. Lesly Jules, Founder, Jethro Academy

What We Stand For

These are not slogans. They are the commitments that shape every course, every faculty decision, and every student interaction at Jethro Academy.

01

Scripture Above All

Every framework, every principle, every recommendation is tested against the Word. We integrate, not replace. Biblical wisdom is not a starting point — it is the foundation.

02

Radical Accessibility

World-class formation should not require a seminary degree or a plane ticket. We have built this to reach leaders in Pétion-Ville and Port-au-Prince, in Brooklyn and Paris, in every corner of the Haitian diaspora.

03

Integrity in Practice

We teach transparency, accountability, and ethical governance because we model them ourselves. What we ask of church leaders, we hold ourselves to first.

04

Community Over Credentials

Certificates matter — but belonging to a community of leaders who challenge and support one another matters more. Jethro Academy is building a movement, not just a course catalogue.

20 Experts. One Purpose.
